Product Marketing Manager in Legal Tech (Zurich)

Legal AI content is turning into a commodity. Every vendor ships the same AI-generated blog posts and the same generic battlecards. We are transitioning into an AI-native company ourselves, and that changes what this role has to be. You would sit in the marketing department with a dotted line to the product department, but not as a traditional product marketer who ships a few blog posts and calls it enablement. Not as a pure thinker who never touches a sales deck. Instead, as one person who owns our voice and turns it into everything the company needs to win: the thesis that gets us cited, the sales slide that closes next week’s deal, and the briefing that gets a General Counsel to say yes.

You will use AI tooling and agents to cover ground that used to take a small team, so you can spend your own time on the part that cannot be delegated: the thinking, the judgment, and the writing that actually changes someone’s mind.

1. Product Marketing & Market Intelligence

  • Drive go-to-market impact for launches and expansion, from plan to execution.

  • Own deep knowledge of our ICP and competitive landscape, and feed it back into the product and sales strategy.

  • Bring market and customer truth back to Product so we build what actually matters.

  • Work across Product, Marketing, Sales and leadership. You don’t sit in a silo.

2. Positioning, Narrative & Thought Leadership

  • Own positioning: define what Legartis stands for, against which alternatives, for which buyer.

  • Develop and defend clear, evidence-backed points of view on where Legal AI is going. Not generic AI-created opinions, but real positions based on customer and buyer research (interviews with General Counsel, CFOs, legal operations leaders).

  • Conceive flagship studies and thought leadership content. Direct AI tools to help you scale production while you own the substance and the voice.

  • Own our thought leadership channels, including video, and decide what gets said. Write what can’t be delegated: founder posts, executive bylines, keynote scripts, board-level memos.

3. Sales & Customer-Facing Enablement

  • Build the sales slides, briefings, one-pagers and competitive battlecards that make Sales and Customer Success more effective in every conversation.

  • Translate positioning and research into materials for specific deals, verticals and executive-level conversations.

  • Work directly with Sales and CS to find out what’s missing in the field. Build case studies and customer proof points that Sales actually uses, not ones that sit in a folder.

What We Want to Achieve Together

In 6 months: a flagship study that gets cited by competitors and customers. Sales armed with materials that actually get used in deals. A clear Legartis position that everyone in the company can repeat in 30 seconds.

In 12 months: Legartis recognized as one of the leading European voices on Legal AI, with a content and enablement engine, you plus the AI tools you direct, that outproduces companies with five times the headcount.

  • Proven strategist: demonstrated success creating and executing marketing strategies.

  • Storyteller: you craft compelling materials about complex AI products for non-technical audiences.

  • Clear communicator: exceptional written and verbal communication with a strong visual sensibility.

  • Impact-driven: comfortable with experimentation and interpreting both quantitative and qualitative data.

  • AI-savvy: crafty with AI tools and automations — you use them daily and keep exploring what's new.

  • A track record where writing and thinking were central: journalism, industry or analyst research, strategy consulting, or senior product marketing with real strategic ownership. 4+ years in marketing, product marketing or a comparable strategic role at a SaaS company. Classic PMM experience (positioning, GTM, enablement) is a strong plus, not a hard requirement, if your thinking and writing are strong enough.

  • Fluent German and English, executive-level writing in both.

  • Real editorial ownership over our voice and our position, not a content calendar handed down from someone else.

  • A platform to build your own visible profile as a voice in Legal AI.

  • Modern office in Leipzig or Berlin, hybrid setup, with regular presence in Zürich and team events such as hiking, dinners and offsites.

  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) participation.

  • Competitive salary, based on experience and seniority.

  1. 30 min with our People & Operations Manager: cultural fit, understanding the role and your expectations.

  2. Positioning conversation with our Head of Product: bring a point of view on Legal AI and be ready to defend it live.

  3. Case study: show us something you’ve written or built, and how you’d turn it into a sales-ready asset.

  4. Meet the team in the office.

  5. Decision: if it’s mutual, we welcome you to the team!
