Laser Production Engineer

You will be responsible for producing Menhir lasers to the highest quality standards. This role requires a strong foundation in laser physics and photonics, along with hands-on experience in laser alignment, cleanroom operations, and work in an industrial setting. You bring an analytical mindset, the ability to solve complex, multidimensional problems, and a structured, methodical approach to routine tasks. You thrive in a team environment but are equally capable of working independently and following detailed work instructions with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work in an ISO6 cleanroom environment
  • Perform laser manufacturing processes, including the handling and assembly of optical components
  • Align lasers and work with fiber optics
  • Conduct factory acceptance tests

Scope & Accountability

  • Build, align, and test lasers following established work instructions
  • Inspect, clean, and manage optical components and stock items
  • Maintain and support the cleanroom’s stringent cleanliness requirements
  • Contribute to maintaining and strengthening the company’s Quality Management System

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree

Languages
  • English required
  • Basic German

  • Working arrangements: On-site
  • Location: Headquarters in Stettbach near Zurich, Switzerland
  • Preferred start date: As soon as possible
