Underwriting Assistant (all gender) Reinsurance, Full-time or Part-time

• Take ownership of varied administrative tasks relating to business partners, reinsurance contracts and renewal submission data
• Support our underwriters in nurturing existing partnerships and helping develop new business relationships
• Prepare insightful figures and analyses that contribute to well-founded decisions on reinsurance contracts
• Create and maintain meaningful reports that support portfolio management and effective control
• Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders as well as external clients and brokers
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across underwriting, actuarial and accounting teams within reinsurance

• A higher education background combined with relevant experience in the insurance or reinsurance environment
• A strong sense of commitment, curiosity and willingness to learn, paired with excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• A proactive, independent and well-structured working style
• Confidence in using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Resilience and the ability to stay focused and organized during busy periods, especially renewal season
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; German and any additional languages are a plus
