Senior/Medical Science Liaison

About the Role

The Senior Medical Science Liaison (MSL) / Medical Advisor serves as DKSH's subject matter expert on key indications within the cardiometabolic, autoimmune, and dermatology portfolio, developing and driving medical affairs strategy and activities in Singapore. This role is critical to delivering integrated brand plan objectives at the highest standard of quality, in alignment with local regulations and business priorities.

What You Will Deliver

• Collaborate with the Head of Medical Affairs to develop medical strategy and drive timely execution of key medical activities for relevant therapeutic areas
• Conduct situational and gap analyses of therapeutic and diagnostic landscapes for assigned therapeutic areas, presenting findings in a clear and visually compelling manner to key stakeholders
• Work closely with cross-functional leads to support therapeutic area brand plans and ensure excellent and timely execution of key tactics
• Develop and implement a scientific communication plan that fosters meaningful dialogue with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) to deepen understanding of clinical management landscapes for relevant therapeutic areas
• Design and execute structured avenues to gather insights from key experts, including advisory boards and scientific consultations, with proper documentation and dissemination of findings
• Manage named patient programmes and compassionate use programmes in alignment with client requirements, ensuring seamless transition to commercial supply
• Manage investigator-initiated studies and sponsor-initiated studies as required, and support or lead Real World Evidence (RWE) and evidence generation planning and activities
• Provide platforms to educate HCPs on emerging clinical data and the appropriate use of DKSH products
• Review promotional materials and package inserts to ensure medical accuracy, compliance, and alignment with current clinical evidence
• Stay current with medical and scientific developments and deliver medical-scientific training to the sales force
• Support medical affairs activities including advisory board meetings, Continuing Medical Education (CME), speaker development, and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) engagement
• Support medical information enquiry processing and safety reporting in accordance with applicable requirements
• Ensure full compliance with local regulatory requirements, company policies, and relevant treatment guidelines

What You Bring

• Medical degree (MBBS or MD) preferred; doctorate (PhD) in a relevant scientific discipline also considered
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a comparable Medical Science Liaison or medical affairs role
• Experience in the autoimmune, cardiometabolic, or dermatology therapeutic areas, or a related field, is preferred
• Scientific expertise in autoimmune, cardiometabolic, dermatology, or similar specialist fields
• Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities with the ability to translate complex clinical data into actionable insights
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders
• Strong people and change leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional projects effectively
