About The Role

The Senior Executive, Materials Management is responsible for driving monthly inventory planning, purchase order management, and comprehensive reporting to ensure stockholding, ageing stock, and damaged stock levels remain within defined targets. This role is central to DKSH's supply chain effectiveness and is well-suited for candidates with a background in supply planning who are looking to create impact through data-driven inventory management and strong client

What You Will Deliver

  • Drive demand and supply planning for clients to ensure optimal inventory levels and fulfillment readiness
  • Consolidate sales forecasts and inventory requirements in close collaboration with Sales and Operations teams to align planning with business needs
  • Analyse inventory turnover to proactively minimize stock shortages and excess inventory levels
  • Prepare and consolidate inventory reports and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track service levels and measure progress against targets
  • Continuously review process efficiency and recommend improvements that enhance productivity and reduce operational costs
  • Serve as the key point of contact for clients on day-to-day materials management matters, ensuring responsive and reliable service
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams to support seamless inventory operations
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required

What You Bring

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline; a strong numerical aptitude is essential given the nature of this role
  • Knowledge of production, shipment, and inventory management
  • Ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders across Finance, Commercial, Distribution Center, and Client Management teams
  • Sound understanding of inventory management processes including inventory health, excess, slow-moving, and non-moving stock management
  • Experience in demand forecast uploads and manual planning
  • Ability to recommend adequate supply replenishment quantities with consideration for Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) constraints, and to proactively flag and escalate exceptional inventory cases to relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse and track forecast versus actual sales performance to support supply recommendations
  • Experience with Power BI dashboards and familiarity with metrics such as case fill rate, On-Time In-Full (OTIF), Forecast Accuracy, and Forecast Bias
  • Working knowledge of SAP Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) system is advantageous
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
