Senior Analyst Mergers & Acquisitions
About the Role
The Senior Analyst, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) is a key contributor to DKSH's Corporate Development function, supporting the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions and strategic initiatives across the Group. This role delivers financial modelling, analytical, and project coordination capabilities that enable informed decision-making and drive successful deal outcomes.
What You Will Deliver
- Support the end-to-end assessment and execution of corporate M&A initiatives, including target screening, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and internal approval processes.
- Collect, clean, and analyze financial and operational data on potential acquisition targets to inform preliminary attractiveness and strategic fit assessments.
- Build and maintain financial models (eg Discounted Cash Flow Models) summarizing key value drivers and risks.
- Support due diligence by maintaining trackers, coordinating information requests, managing the data room, and ensuring timely follow-up with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Prepare analysis and content for internal presentations, reports, and decision papers.
- Support drafting of transaction documents and other activities related to signing and closing of the transactions.
- Contribute to post-merger integration planning by consolidating inputs from cross-functional teams, tracking action items, and monitoring progress against integration plans.
- Deliver analytical and project support for various strategic initiatives, including market mapping, competitor benchmarking, and business case development.
What You Bring
- At least 2 -3 years of relevant experience in M&A, transaction advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity/venture capital (VC), or corporate development.
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and modelling, including valuation and scenario analysis, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Exposure to cross-border transactions is an advantage, whether through projects, deals, or regional stakeholder engagement.
- Good understanding of accounting and corporate finance fundamentals relevant to M&A, including Profit and Loss (P&L), balance sheet, cash flow, working capital, debt, and equity structures.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to validate data, identify inconsistencies, and translate findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Solid project coordination skills, including tracker management, timeline oversight, and stakeholder follow-ups, with the ability to thrive in fast-moving and ambiguous environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to produce rigorous analyses and well-structured internal materials.
- Fluency in English is essential; proficiency in additional Asian languages is an advantage.
- Goal-oriented, resilient, and effective at managing tight deadlines and high-volume workloads.
- Collaborative and independent in equal measure, with a hands-on, proactive, and solution-driven approach.
- Strong cultural awareness and interpersonal sensitivity, particularly in cross-border and cross-cultural working contexts.
