Research Associate & Lecturer in Environmental and Energy Economics 60–80 %
- Acquisition of externally funded research and projects, as well as contributing to and leading research projects
- Research in environmental economics, including publication of scientific outputs
- Teaching in environmental or economics-related subjects at Bachelor, Master and continuing education levels including supervision of Bachelor and Master theses
- Contributing to the broader activities of the Centre for Energy and the Environment, including public outreach and international collaboration
- PhD in Environmental Economics or a closely related field
- Ideally professional experience in environmental economics or a related domain
- Proven track record of publications in international peer-reviewed journals
- Previous teaching experience at a higher education institution
- Strong interest in interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and at least one Swiss national language; willingness to learn German
- Open, communicative personality with strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Independent, structured, and flexible working style
- Team-oriented mindset with collaborative spirit
- Experience with numerical modelling (e.g., Computable General Equilibrium models) is an advantage
