The Media & Digital Communications Manager supports Climeworks’ global media relations and digital communications efforts. Reporting to the Head of Media & Issues, the role ensures the efficient running of the press office, supports media engagement, and enables high-quality, consistent external communications across media and digital channels. 

This is a hands-on role combining operational media support, content coordination, and digital publishing. It is suited to a proactive, high-performing, detail-oriented communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable working across teams and with senior stakeholders. 

 

  • Media Monitoring & Insights: You monitor global media coverage, track key narratives, sentiment, and trends, and provide media insights and reporting to support communication strategies and stakeholder engagement.

  • Press Office Operations: You manage inbound media requests, coordinate timely responses, and work closely with subject matter experts and senior spokespeople to ensure effective media engagement.

  • Journalist Engagement: You maintain and develop journalist networks across priority markets, identify media opportunities, and ensure media databases and processes remain accurate and up to date.

  • Media Relations & Campaign Execution: You support media outreach and relationship-building, particularly within the DACH region, and contribute to the successful execution of media campaigns, announcements, and localized communication initiatives.

  • Content Development: You draft and review media responses, Q&As, briefing materials, and spokesperson preparation documents, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across channels.

  • Digital Communications: You publish and coordinate content across websites and social media platforms, supporting digital communication activities and ensuring alignment with broader communications objectives and narratives.
