About The Role

The Manager, Group Tax leads Singapore tax operations and serves as the Asia Pacific lead for indirect tax advisory, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective tax risk governance across the Group. This role is integral to DKSH's financial integrity, delivering accurate tax reporting, strengthening internal controls, and driving strategic Group tax initiatives across the region.

What You Will Deliver

  • Oversee all tax-related operational activities for Singapore legal entities, including corporate income tax, Goods and Services Tax (GST), withholding tax, tax reconciliations, tax reporting, and resolution of tax matters, ensuring accuracy and full regulatory compliance.
  • Serve as the primary tax advisor to management and stakeholders, delivering expert guidance on tax implications, compliance obligations, and regulatory developments that affect the business.
  • Lead engagements with tax authorities across audits, assessments, reviews, and dispute resolution, mitigating tax risks and upholding effective governance standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, internal controls, and best practices that strengthen compliance, operational effectiveness, and the overall stakeholder experience.
  • Provide regional indirect tax advisory support to designated countries and entities across Asia Pacific, acting as the subject matter expert for indirect tax matters within the Group.
  • Lead and support regional tax projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives, driving consistent implementation of tax-related policies and controls.
  • Champion knowledge sharing and dissemination of tax regulatory updates and best practices across regional teams to build tax capability throughout the organization.
  • Administrative duties and coordination tasks as required.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a related tax or finance role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of indirect tax, including Goods and Services Tax (GST), Value Added Tax (VAT), and withholding-related indirect tax touchpoints across Asia Pacific.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving ability, with a track record of identifying tax risks and recommending pragmatic, effective solutions.
  • Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • High integrity and professionalism, underpinned by strong critical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player who can also work independently, with a positive attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement.
