Manager Finance Business Partnering
About the Role
The Manager, Finance Business Partnering (Supply Chain Management) serves as a strategic finance partner to the Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, and Logistics teams within DKSH. This role provides financial leadership and actionable insights that drive cost efficiency, inventory optimization, working capital improvements, and the achievement of supply chain performance targets in alignment with business objectives.
What You Will Deliver
- Partner with Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions to support the preparation and alignment of yearly operational plans, including budgets, forecasts, and supply chain-related costs such as warehousing and logistics
- Report on business performance versus targets, highlighting key variances with clarity and timeliness
- Deliver accurate and timely monthly reporting on SCM performance to the leadership team
- Maintain reporting processes for the SCM leadership team, providing clear insights that support effective business decision-making
- Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities, deliver performance analysis on supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and surface cost-saving opportunities
- Work with cross-functional stakeholders to support financial planning and analysis
- Deliver strategic financial insights to the SCM team to support day-to-day business decision-making and challenge assumptions underpinning strategic supply chain decisions
- Develop and support business cases for capital expenditure, automation initiatives, warehouse investments, and supply chain transformation projects
- Assess the financial impact of sourcing decisions, supplier negotiations, and inventory policies
- Provide recommendations to improve inventory efficiency and cash flow generation
- Partner with planning and procurement teams to balance service levels with inventory investment
- Assist in financial modelling, financial analysis, and valuation support for mergers and acquisitions (M&A), client contracts, and other ad-hoc financial projects
- Build and maintain strong partnerships with SCM stakeholders at both local and global levels, driving alignment between operational and financial objectives
- Support discussions with business stakeholders on action plans to deliver business and financial objectives
- Ensure timely follow-up on agreed actions and deliverables
What You Bring
- Degree or professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- 5 to 8 years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), or Finance Business Partnering, with experience supporting Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing, or Operations functions being a strong advantage
- Experience in life sciences, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer goods, manufacturing, or logistics-intensive industries will be highly advantageous
- Proven experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes
- Demonstrated understanding of supply chain operations including procurement, planning, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics
- Strong understanding of inventory accounting, working capital management, and operational performance metrics
- Demonstrated knowledge of financial and accounting principles and performance management
- Ability to identify value drivers in business and assess how macroeconomic market factors impact business performance
- Demonstrated experience in financial modelling and scenario analysis
- Proficiency in SAP and office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Prior industry experience will be an advantage
