Lead - Last Mile Excellence
In short
The Lead - Last Mile Excellence role will report to the Head of Outbound Transportation & Last Mile Delivery on the Last Mile Excellence team supporting our omnichannel last mile operations. You will drive complex, end-to-end projects to ensure On customers receive the best possible delivery and returns experience across ecommerce, retail, and wholesale. As an agile thinker in a brand-new team, you will be responsible for landing some of our largest initiatives, directly improving customer experience in a fast-growing retail environment.
Your mission
- Lead the global rollout and strategic scaling of our multi-carrier strategy across all regions. Currently, On single source carriers in the majority of our global regions and our team is responsible for evolving our last mile into a multi-carrier model.
- Develop the methodology for us to measure and improve our expected delivery date performance, working collaboratively across Tech, Operations, Regional Supply Chain and our carrier partners to drive this number as high as possible.
- Help develop, align, and optimize foundational ways of working across our ecommerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
- Make critical operational and project decisions autonomously while effectively gathering input from cross-functional stakeholders.
- Balance innovation with efficiency, continuously seeking new ideas or technologies to improve processes without reinventing the wheel.
Your story
- 7+ years of hands-on experience navigating complex supply chain environments, with a deep operational understanding of retail, delivery carriers, or 3PL networks.
- Proven experience managing carrier relations or delivery solutions, matching the expertise of a carrier manager or delivery solutions manager.
- An agile thinker who is highly comfortable navigating changing priorities and ambiguity in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- A proactive problem-solver with a track record of working autonomously to address complex, multi-layered logistical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, with a natural ability to build a diverse internal network and collaborate closely with functional peers.
- Proficient English language skills. Other languages are a plus.
- A results-oriented individual with a deep curiosity, open to learning, and determined to make a direct impact on the customer journey.
- Experience managing a carrier or retailer delivery P&L and operating a Carrier Management System is advantageous.
