You will build and inspire a high-performing team while fostering strong cross-functional collaboration across apparel, accessories, and key business verticals. You will partner closely with innovation, engineering, and sourcing teams to bring best-in-class footwear to market, balancing craft with massive commercial scalability. This is an opportunity to shape & define what premium footwear means for On, drawing on elite industry playbooks to drive meaningful, multi-million dollar impact across athletes, consumers, and the business.

Your mission

  • Define and lead a clear, consumer-driven product vision and strategy for footwear, aligning cross-functional teams around a cohesive direction that delivers against both brand hype and billion-dollar business objectives.
  • Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing product management team, setting an elite standard for excellence in strategic thinking, commercial execution, and collaboration across the entire product creation organization.
  • Champion the voice of the athlete and consumer at the highest level, translating global insights into highly differentiated product concepts, tiering strategies (from limited energy to commercial scale), and narratives that elevate the brand in sport culture.
  • Drive lockstep cross-functional alignment across design, development, merchandising, and commercial teams, ensuring seamless execution from initial brief to marketplace delivery with clarity, speed, and precision.
  • Operate with an exceptional balance of creativity and business acumen, making strategic decisions that prioritize pipeline innovation, multi-tier scalability, and long-term franchise growth while navigating a fast-paced, evolving product landscape.

Your story

  • 15 years of proven experience leading and scaling high-performing product management teams, with a natural ability to set a clear vision and drive decisive action across complex, matrixed global organizations.
  • A remarkable track record of transforming and scaling lifestyle footwear franchises into global revenue drivers
  • Strong strategic mindset with a history of building long-range product plans that successfully map the size of the opportunity, target consumer profiles, price tiers (High/Mid/Low), and regional growth dimensions while aligning executive leadership.
  • Deep understanding of the global footwear landscape, with a demonstrated ability to create, evolve, and sustain a product line that drives cultural energy and commands top-10 global best-selling status across diverse consumer segments.
  • Exceptional ability to manage a dual-engine product portfolio, masterfully balancing limited-release collaborations to drive brand heat with high-volume general releases that convert demand into sustained, high-volume commercial growth.
  • Confident, compelling, and intentional communicator, capable of influencing executive leadership, managing high-profile external stakeholders, and clearly articulating product storytelling from concept to the marketplace.
  • A leadership style rooted in coaching and education—such as academic or mentorship experience in sports product creation—that fosters an inclusive, high-performance environment, empowers teams, and elevates the collective organizational output.
