Executive Quality Assurance
About The Role
The Executive, Quality Assurance leads quality operations for Controlled Drug processes at DKSH, ensuring rigorous compliance across the full warehousing lifecycle from inbound to outbound. This role is integral to safeguarding product integrity, regulatory adherence, and client confidence through effective quality oversight, change control management, and Product Quality Complaint (PQC) resolution.
What You Will Deliver
- Lead Quality Assurance (QA) inspections, controls, and verifications for Controlled Drug processes across all warehousing activities to ensure full compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), client requirements, and regulatory standards
- Oversee Change Control management by maintaining an up-to-date Change Control Masterlist and ensuring timely completion of all related reporting requirements
- Conduct QA verification across the full Controlled Drug supply chain including inbound activities such as redressing and receiving; storage and bin integrity covering product segregation, status labeling, and traceability; and outbound activities including delivery, Reject Upon Delivery (RUD), trade returns, and disposal
- Verify and manage quarantined products due to quality issues, and liaise with clients on QA verification outcomes to provide timely disposition guidance to the Logistics team
- Approve or reject starting materials, packaging materials, intermediates, bulk, and finished products involved in Controlled Drug redressing, repackaging, and relabeling activities
- Evaluate batch records and approve specifications, sampling instructions, test methods, and quality procedures to uphold product integrity and compliance
- Manage Product Quality Complaints end-to-end and ensure timely provision of monthly PQC reconciliation reports to relevant clients
- Perform self-inspections and pre-audits, and follow up with process owners to ensure all observations are addressed and closed in a timely manner
- Provide back-up support to the Quality Assurance Manager and team members across assigned areas as requiredAdministrative duties and coordination tasks as required
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Quality, Science, or a related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in quality assurance or equivalent fields
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards
- Knowledge of Good Practice (GxP) requirements across storage, manufacturing, and distribution
- Strong data analysis, reporting, and quality management skills
- Effective problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
- Demonstrated use and understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- A collaborative team player who is self-motivated and takes initiative
