Director - Procurement Transformation
KPMG Management Consulting is looking for a Procurement Transformation Director to further develop the client base, service portfolio and help organizations to re-define the way their Procurement function operates.

- Acquire and lead procurement engagements with the objective to transform the
- Design and deliver strategies and solutions to improve processes (such as Source-to-Pay, strategic sourcing, spend analysis, supplier management, contract management, order management, invoicing & payments), systems and organizational set-ups of procurement functions
- Support our clients in improving the efficiency and quality of their procurement shared service centers / buying centers, outsourcing contracts, decentralized business units and the strategic partnership of their procurement Business Partners
- Advise our clients in reviewing their procurement technology landscape and provide insights on market leading digital solutions for Source-to-Pay / procurement and the adjacent functions
- Steer cross-functional projects within larger transformation programs
- Support proposals for the acquisition of new engagements with national and international clients
- Scout and develop our target market for new opportunities
- Foster existing and establish new relationships to procurement leaders such as Chief Procurement Officer, Head of Procurement, Procurement Transformation Lead
- Develop and lead your team of procurement / source to pay experts and coach the employees towards our growth journey in procurement consulting
- 9+ years of professional experience from procurement projects within a Consulting firm
- Deep understanding of reorganizations within the procurement function, e.g. procurement KPI benchmarking, business case calculations, design and implementation of procurement Target Operating Models, procurement process optimizations (Source to Pay / Purchase to Pay), procurement technology selection and implementation, set up of a procurement shared service centers, outsourcing initiatives and procurement governance models
- Knowledge of systems (SAP Ariba, Coupa, Ivalua etc.), the respective functionalities for procurement process optimizations and the digital solutions market
- Solid network / contacts into Swiss or Swiss-headquartered firms from past project experience
- Proven success in business development; a key success factor for a Director role with in KPMG
- Strong people leadership skills and the ability to build and develop own procurement transformation team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a big advantage, French is a plus
- Very good communication and analytical skills for interactions with CPOs, CFOs and procurement leadership
- Strong motivation to build your own career as a senior leader and procurement expert within a big four firm
