  • Solution Development: Translating complex business and operational challenges into practical, data-driven solutions.
  • Pipeline Design & Engineering: Designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, data models, and integrations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborating closely with internal teams to analyze requirements, find solutions, and deliver measurable value throughout the entire delivery lifecycle.
  • Product Development: Combining data engineering, analytics, and software development to create production-ready data applications and tools.
  • Data Integration: Integrating data from internal systems, third-party platforms, and APIs into the central data platform.
  • Quality Assurance & Operations: Ensuring data quality, reliability, observability, performance, and appropriate access controls.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Collaborating with data engineers, analysts, software developers, and business teams at the Windhoek and Zurich locations.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, software engineering or a comparable role
  • Strong SQL skills and practical experience with Python or another general-purpose programming language
  • Experience building and operating production-grade data pipelines and data models
  • Familiarity with modern cloud data platforms, orchestration tools, transformation frameworks and APIs
  • A pragmatic, product-oriented mindset and the ability to turn loosely defined problems into working solutions
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • A high degree of ownership, curiosity and comfort working in changing or ambiguous environments
  • Fluent in English and comfortable working cross-functionally with colleagues in Namibia and Switzerland
