As part of our successful Deal Advisory Financial Services team, you are a key team member in the execution of Financial Due Diligence projects. In this function, you will support national and international clients in complex transactions. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with a wide variety of people at KPMG and our clients.
  • Provide essential support to our clients in strategic acquisitions or disposals, delivering insightful due diligence services.
  • Obtain, compile and analyze financial, commercial and operational data of target companies for key deal metrics such as sustainable revenues and earnings, adjusted net assets and future cash flows utilizing MS Excel and cutting-edge KPMG data analytics tools.
  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality due diligence reports and client presentations
  • Actively engage in targeting and business development activities and prepare marketing decks and company profiles.
  • Perform industry research and market analysis, contributing to KPMG publications.
  • Quickly assume responsibility in a demanding environment and interact with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Attend training and benefit from various internal and external training opportunities provided by KPMG
  • Successfully completed a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or Economics (ideally with specialization in accounting or corporate finance)
  • Initial practical experience in transaction services, M&A or audit
  • Analytical style of work, advanced problem-solving skills and affinity for explaining complex topics in a simple and understandable way
  • Willingness to do high-quality work, desire to take on responsibility and work in interdisciplinary teams
  • Motivated, reliable, and team-oriented with fluency in German and an excellent command of English A good command of French is a plus
  • Good knowledge in MS Office
