Brand Partnerships Lead – Switzerland

At On, we’re redefining the future of sportswear. Having already inspired millions of runners around the world, we’re now looking for a strategic, energetic, and highly collaborative Brand Partnerships Lead to drive our premier brand partnerships in our home market of Switzerland.
In this role, you’ll be the strategic owner and main point of contact for our most high-profile Swiss partners. You will be responsible for bringing these partnerships to life - connecting communities, building local brand love, driving run credibility, and helping us remain culturally relevant to a younger audience. Reporting directly to the Senior Lead Brand Activation Switzerland, you will collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to transform strategic relationships into powerful, community-driven storytelling and physical experiences.
Your mission
- Own the end-to-end strategic planning, activation, and relationship management for premier partners, including the UBS Kids Cup, Weltklasse Zurich Extra Mile, and Swiss Ski.
- Develop and execute new, innovative partnership concepts - such as the On Talent Academy in collaboration with Weltklasse Zürich - to drive youth engagement and cultural relevance.
- Partner closely with the Switzerland Brand Comms Lead and the wider Brand Activation team to bring partnership stories to life across all marketing and media channels.
- Manage all key operational requirements, including partner onboarding, contractual deliverables, product planning/allocation, and joint programme development.
- Bring structure and high energy to partnership operations - ensuring efficient day-to-day execution, timely communication, and strong stakeholder alignment.
- Define clear objectives and KPIs for each partnership, establishing robust tracking, measurement, and reporting processes to continually optimize impact and ROI.
- Champion an omnichannel activation mindset, working cross-functionally with DTC, retail, wholesale, and grassroots community teams to maximize partnership touchpoints.
- Effectively manage the allocated Swiss brand partnerships budget, ensuring accurate forecasting, tracking, and reporting.
Your story
- Typically we look for 5+ years of experience in brand partnerships, sports marketing, or brand activation roles - ideally within the sports, sportswear, entertainment, or cultural sectors (brand or agency side).
- Proven track record of managing and activating high-profile sports properties or community partners in Switzerland.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills - comfortable navigating operational details like partner onboarding, product seeding, and program coordination.
- A natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills, capable of managing complex stakeholder environments and influencing cross-functional teams.
- A creative, storytelling-driven mindset with the ability to turn contractual rights into highly engaging, authentic consumer experiences.
- Solid experience in budget management, establishing KPIs, tracking campaign performance, and presenting data-informed insights to leadership.
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, is required to lead local relationships and align with our global organization. French language skills are a strong asset.
- Comfortable with local travel across Switzerland to support partner events and activations - a valid Swiss driver’s licence is required.
